Community Standards

ZapX is built to connect clients, photographers, videographers, event organizers, attendees, and other members of the creative community in a professional, respectful, and safe environment.
These Community Standards apply to all activity conducted through the ZapX mobile application, website, marketplace, booking tools, messaging features, event galleries, and related services.
By using ZapX, you agree to follow these standards along with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Respect Everyone
Treat all users, creators, event organizers, attendees, ZapX team members, venues, and third parties with respect.
ZapX does not permit:
- Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or threats.
- Hate speech or hateful conduct.
- Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
- Abusive, degrading, humiliating, or hostile behavior.
- Unwanted sexual comments, advances, or conduct.
- Retaliation against users who report safety concerns or policy violations.
2. Be Professional
Users and creators must maintain professional behavior throughout bookings, events, communications, payments, content delivery, and dispute resolution.
Professional conduct includes:
- Communicating clearly and respectfully.
- Providing accurate booking and event information.
- Arriving on time and honoring confirmed commitments.
- Responding reasonably to messages, booking changes, and support requests.
- Delivering services and content according to the agreed scope and timeline.
- Respecting venues, equipment, personal property, and event rules.
Repeated lateness, unexplained cancellations, poor communication, refusal to provide agreed services, or disruptive behavior may result in account restrictions or removal.
3. No Fraud or Misrepresentation
Users must represent themselves, their services, their experience, and their content honestly.
Prohibited conduct includes:
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating another person.
- Using false names, credentials, ratings, or qualifications.
- Uploading stolen portfolio images or claiming another person’s work as your own.
- Creating fake bookings, reviews, ratings, or referrals.
- Misrepresenting pricing, availability, services, or events.
- Using stolen, unauthorized, fraudulent, or compromised payment methods.
- Attempting to manipulate payments, refunds, disputes, promotions, or creator payouts.
4. Content Guidelines
Only upload, share, send, display, or distribute content that you own or have permission and legal authority to use.
Content must not:
- Violate copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Include illegal, exploitative, abusive, threatening, or harmful material.
- Include sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, or content involving the sexualization of minors.
- Promote violence, self-harm, terrorism, trafficking, or criminal conduct.
- Reveal private, confidential, or sensitive information without permission.
- Contain malware, harmful links, scams, spam, or deceptive material.
ZapX may remove, restrict, hide, preserve, or report content that appears to violate these standards, our Terms, applicable law, or another person’s rights.
5. Event Photos, Videos, and Galleries
Creators and event organizers must have all necessary rights, permissions, releases, venue approvals, and legally required consents before capturing or uploading event photos, videos, audio, or other event content.
Creators and organizers should provide reasonable notice when photography, videography, or audio recording will occur and when content may be uploaded to or shared through ZapX.
Event content must not be used to:
- Harass, shame, threaten, or exploit another person.
- Reveal sensitive or private information without authorization.
- Misrepresent an attendee, event, creator, organizer, or venue.
- Upload content from private spaces where recording was prohibited.
- Circumvent event access restrictions or share private event codes without authorization.
Private event reminder: Access codes and private galleries should only be shared with authorized participants. Users must not repost, distribute, or commercially use private event content without the required rights and permissions.
6. Protect Children and Minors
ZapX has zero tolerance for the exploitation, abuse, grooming, trafficking, endangerment, or sexualization of children or minors.
Creators and event organizers must obtain all legally required parental or guardian permissions before capturing, uploading, displaying, distributing, or sharing content involving minors.
Users must not:
- Upload or share sexual, exploitative, abusive, or inappropriate content involving a minor.
- Use ZapX to contact, groom, solicit, threaten, or exploit a minor.
- Publish a minor’s private information, location, school, schedule, or identifying details without proper authority.
- Upload content involving minors from schools, youth programs, or private events without required authorization.
ZapX may immediately remove content, suspend accounts, preserve information, and report suspected child exploitation or abuse to appropriate authorities.
7. Payments and Platform Integrity
Bookings and payments originating through ZapX must remain on the platform unless ZapX expressly allows otherwise.
Users and creators must not:
- Ask another user to pay outside ZapX to avoid platform fees.
- Use ZapX messages to redirect confirmed bookings off platform.
- Manipulate payment systems, promotions, tips, refunds, or payouts.
- Submit fraudulent chargebacks or false payment disputes.
- Use unauthorized payment methods or financial information.
Keeping bookings and payments on ZapX helps preserve transaction records, reduce fraud, support disputes, and protect both clients and creators.
8. Safety First
Users are responsible for exercising reasonable judgment and taking appropriate precautions when meeting, booking, working with, or attending events involving other people.
Recommended safety practices include:
- Confirming identities, booking details, addresses, and event information.
- Meeting in public or professionally managed locations.
- Informing a trusted person about your schedule and destination.
- Following venue, security, health, transportation, and emergency rules.
- Ending an interaction and contacting emergency services if you feel unsafe.
ZapX must not be used for stalking, trafficking, assault, theft, coercion, intimidation, exploitation, or any other unsafe or illegal activity.
9. Privacy and Personal Information
Respect the privacy of users, creators, organizers, attendees, and other individuals.
You may not:
- Share another person’s phone number, address, payment information, identification documents, or private communications without permission.
- Record private conversations or private locations unlawfully.
- Use event photos, profile information, or messages for stalking, harassment, surveillance, or unwanted contact.
- Scrape, collect, sell, or distribute personal information from ZapX without authorization.
10. Reviews, Ratings, and Communications
Reviews and ratings must reflect genuine experiences and must not be false, misleading, abusive, retaliatory, discriminatory, defamatory, or manipulated.
Messages, comments, captions, reviews, and other communications must remain relevant, professional, and respectful.
ZapX may remove reviews, ratings, messages, or other communications that violate these standards or appear intended to manipulate, threaten, harass, or mislead others.
11. Prohibited Activities
Users may not use ZapX to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Facilitate fraud, theft, trafficking, abuse, or exploitation.
- Sell illegal goods, weapons, controlled substances, or prohibited services.
- Interfere with platform security, availability, or functionality.
- Upload malware, malicious code, automated scripts, or harmful links.
- Scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or misuse ZapX systems or data.
- Circumvent account restrictions, suspensions, payment systems, or safety controls.
12. Enforcement
ZapX may investigate suspected violations and take action based on the severity, frequency, context, and risk of the conduct.
Enforcement actions may include:
- Issuing warnings or educational notices.
- Removing or restricting content.
- Canceling or limiting bookings.
- Holding, reversing, or restricting payments where permitted.
- Temporarily suspending account features.
- Permanently removing an account from ZapX.
- Preserving information and cooperating with payment providers, regulators, law enforcement, or other appropriate authorities.
ZapX may take immediate action without prior notice when conduct presents a safety, legal, fraud, exploitation, child-protection, or security risk.
13. Reporting Issues
If you experience or witness behavior or content that may violate these Community Standards, report it through the available in-app reporting tools or contact ZapX.
When submitting a report, include relevant details such as the account name, booking, event, message, photo, video, date, and a description of what occurred.
Do not submit knowingly false, misleading, retaliatory, or abusive reports.
For urgent safety concerns or emergencies, contact local emergency services first.
14. Updates to These Standards
ZapX may update these Community Standards as the platform, event features, laws, and community needs evolve.
Updated standards will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of ZapX after updated standards become effective means the updated standards apply to your continued use of the platform.
