ZapX provides a marketplace that connects clients, event organizers, photographers, videographers, event participants, and other users. This Privacy Policy explains how ZapX collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information when you use the ZapX mobile application, website, event features, communications, and related services.
By using ZapX, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Please do not use ZapX if you do not agree with this policy.

1. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use ZapX.
1.1 Information You Provide
We may collect:
- Account information: Name, email address, telephone number, authentication credentials, profile photo, biography, location, and account type.
- Creator information: Portfolio content, services, rates, availability, experience, service areas, professional information, and payout account details.
- Booking information: Requested services, dates, times, locations, booking notes, prices, communications, reviews, tips, disputes, and transaction history.
- Event information: Event names, categories, dates, times, locations, organizer information, descriptions, creator applications, attendance information, access codes, visibility settings, and whether an event is public or private.
- Content: Photographs, videos, audio, galleries, portfolio materials, reviews, messages, attachments, captions, comments, and other content uploaded, captured, delivered, or shared through ZapX.
- Communications: Messages exchanged through ZapX and information provided when contacting customer support.
- Marketing information: Email addresses submitted through our website subscription form and your communication preferences.
1.2 Event Photos, Videos, and Galleries
ZapX allows organizers and creators to upload, display, deliver, access, and share photographs and videos associated with events.
Event content may include:
- A person’s image, likeness, or voice.
- Event attendance or participation.
- Approximate location or event location.
- Date and time information.
- Photo, video, device, and file metadata.
- Other identifying details visible or audible within the content.
Depending on an event’s settings, event content may be accessible to:
- Event organizers.
- Approved or booked photographers and videographers.
- Event participants and attendees.
- ZapX users viewing a public event.
- People who possess or receive a private event access code.
- Other individuals authorized through the event feature.
Private event notice: A private event code limits ordinary discovery, but it does not guarantee complete confidentiality. Anyone who receives the code may potentially access the event unless additional access restrictions are available and enabled.
Organizers and creators are responsible for ensuring that they have the rights, permissions, releases, and legal authority required to capture, upload, display, distribute, or deliver event content through ZapX.
Where required by law, organizers and creators are also responsible for notifying event participants that photography or videography may occur and obtaining any required permissions or consent, including consent relating to minors.
1.3 Payment Information
Payments and creator payouts may be processed by third-party payment providers.
ZapX may receive transaction information such as:
- Payment status and transaction amount.
- Payment method type.
- Billing information.
- Refund, chargeback, and dispute information.
- Connected payout account status.
ZapX generally does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers when payments are processed by a third-party payment provider.
1.4 Location Information
With your permission, ZapX may collect approximate or precise location information to:
- Display creators, bookings, events, and opportunities near you.
- Support map-based discovery.
- Provide location-specific search results.
- Facilitate bookings and event services.
- Prevent fraud and protect platform security.
You may control location permissions through your device settings. Certain features may not work correctly if location access is disabled.
1.5 Information Collected Automatically
When you use ZapX, we may automatically collect:
- Device type, model, and operating system.
- Application version and browser type.
- IP address and device identifiers.
- Log, diagnostic, crash, and performance information.
- Pages, screens, features, and content viewed.
- Search, booking, event, and interaction activity.
- Referring pages and approximate location from an IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies used through the ZapX website.
1.6 Information From Other Sources
We may receive information from:
- Payment and payout providers.
- Authentication providers.
- Cloud hosting and storage providers.
- Mapping and location providers.
- Analytics, fraud prevention, and security providers.
- Other users, organizers, and creators.

2. How We Use Information
ZapX may use personal information to:
- Create, authenticate, and manage accounts.
- Provide creator discovery and map features.
- Process and manage bookings.
- Facilitate communications between users and creators.
- Process payments, payouts, refunds, tips, and transaction disputes.
- Create and manage public and private events.
- Allow creators to apply for, accept, and complete event opportunities.
- Generate, display, manage, access, and deliver event galleries.
- Send booking, event, gallery, payment, safety, and account notifications.
- Personalize recommendations and search results.
- Provide customer support.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized transactions, and security incidents.
- Enforce agreements, Community Standards, and platform policies.
- Improve existing products and develop new products and features.
- Conduct analytics, testing, research, and performance monitoring.
- Comply with legal, tax, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations.
- Communicate product updates, service announcements, and permitted marketing messages.
- Protect the rights, property, safety, and integrity of ZapX, our users, creators, event participants, and others.
3. Public and Private Information
Certain information may be publicly visible or visible to other ZapX users, including:
- Profile name and profile photo.
- Creator biography, portfolio, services, rates, availability, and reviews.
- Public events and public event details.
- Content intentionally uploaded to publicly accessible areas.
- Information shared through reviews, comments, messages, applications, galleries, and event participation.
Private events are designed to reduce ordinary discovery and access. However, ZapX cannot guarantee that information or content accessed by another person will not be copied, downloaded, recorded, forwarded, or shared outside ZapX.
Users should avoid uploading information or content they do not want other authorized users to access or retain.
4. How We Share Information
4.1 Other Users and Creators
We may share information with other users, organizers, participants, and creators when reasonably necessary to:
- Complete or manage a booking.
- Coordinate an event or service.
- Review or process creator applications.
- Display creator profiles and portfolios.
- Deliver event galleries and booking content.
- Enable messages, reviews, and platform interactions.
4.2 Service Providers
We may share information with service providers that help operate ZapX, including:
- Payment processors and payout providers.
- Cloud hosting and storage providers.
- Analytics and performance providers.
- Messaging and notification providers.
- Mapping and geolocation providers.
- Fraud prevention and security providers.
- Customer support tools.
- Professional advisers and contractors.
We require service providers to use personal information only for authorized purposes and to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security protections.

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

5. Sale, Sharing, and Advertising
ZapX does not sell personal information in the traditional sense of exchanging personal information for money.
Some privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” more broadly to include certain disclosures for targeted advertising, analytics, cross-context behavioral advertising, or other valuable consideration.
Where required by applicable law, ZapX will provide a method for eligible individuals to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or similar processing.
6. Biometric Information
ZapX does not intentionally collect, create, analyze, or use biometric identifiers or biometric information, such as faceprints, facial geometry, voiceprints, fingerprints, retina scans, or iris scans, for the purpose of identifying individuals unless expressly disclosed and authorized in advance.
The presence of a person’s face, voice, or likeness in a photograph or video uploaded to ZapX does not by itself mean that ZapX creates or processes biometric identifiers.
If ZapX introduces biometric processing in the future, we will provide any notices, disclosures, retention information, and consent mechanisms required by applicable law before that processing begins.
7. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and how applicable law applies, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether ZapX processes your personal information.
- Access personal information associated with your account.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Request deletion of personal information.
- Request a portable copy of certain personal information.
- Opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing where required.
- Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Appeal a denied privacy request where applicable.
ZapX will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right, except as otherwise permitted by law.

8. Event Content Removal Requests
If you believe a photograph or video available through ZapX depicts you and should be removed, you may contact us at [email protected] .
Please include, where possible:
- Your name and contact information.
- The event name or access code.
- A description or link identifying the content.
- The reason for your request.
- Information reasonably necessary to verify that you appear in the content or are authorized to make the request.
ZapX may review the request, contact the relevant organizer or creator, restrict access while reviewing the request, and take other appropriate action consistent with applicable law and platform policies.
Removal from ZapX does not guarantee deletion of copies previously downloaded, recorded, or shared by other users.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide and maintain the ZapX platform.
- Maintain accounts and complete bookings.
- Support event content and galleries.
- Process payments, payouts, refunds, and disputes.
- Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
- Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
- Prevent fraud and maintain platform security.
Retention periods may vary based on the type of information, account status, legal requirements, dispute history, security needs, and the nature of the service provided.
When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize, or deidentify it.
10. Security
ZapX uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
These safeguards may include access controls, encryption, security monitoring, vendor controls, internal policies, training, and incident-response procedures.
No application, website, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and promptly notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
11. Aggregated and Deidentified Information
ZapX may create, use, disclose, and retain aggregated, anonymized, or deidentified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual.
We may use this information for analytics, research, platform improvement, product development, fraud prevention, reporting, business operations, and other lawful purposes.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
ZapX may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, payment providers, mapping services, social media services, creator portfolios, or other platforms.
ZapX is not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of third-party services. You should review their privacy policies separately.
13. Children and Minors
ZapX is not directed to children. Individuals under 18 may not create an account or independently use ZapX unless expressly permitted by ZapX and all legally required parental or guardian permissions have been obtained.
Events may include photographs or videos of minors. Organizers and creators are responsible for obtaining any legally required parental or guardian consent before capturing, uploading, sharing, or distributing content featuring minors.
If ZapX becomes aware that personal information was collected from a child in violation of applicable law or this policy, we may delete the information and suspend or terminate the associated account.
14. International Processing
ZapX and its service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as ZapX, our technology, our event features, or applicable laws evolve.
The updated policy will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date. When appropriate, we may also provide notice through the application, website, or email.
Your continued use of ZapX after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy will apply to your continued use of the platform.
